Biography is where the broad story becomes accountable.

Women of Mahjong documents named people, their work, their communities, and the evidence that lets readers check the story.

What we follow

Teaching, organizing, design, play, preservation, entrepreneurship, family memory, and the ordinary infrastructure that lets a game become a social world.

What we refuse

We do not flatten Chinese, Chinese American, Jewish American, or other histories into one story. We do not make a hero out of an incomplete archive or turn a living person into content without care.

How we handle evidence

We name sources, distinguish recollection from record, mark uncertainty, credit collaborators, and welcome corrections. No record located is not the same as no participation.

Commercial standard

Profiles are not product funnels. Any sponsorship will be disclosed and will not control who is selected or what a story concludes.
